Such a simple food but not as easy as you think to get the perfect egg. This method doesn't guarantee easy peeling but it can lead to the perfect cooking of one if you follow the timing. You won't have the perfect hard boiled egg if you set the timer and then leave the room. Although I've done that many times, it doesn't mean they still won't turn out. I have even managed to totally forget about it and when I realized it I found the eggs were burning in the pan. This mistake only leaves eggs suitable as a snack for your dog.

Hard Boiled Eggs

Place eggs in sauce pan with water covering them. Bring the eggs to a boil. When the water starts boiling, turn off the heat to the burner and cover pan with a lid. Set the timer for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes remove them from the burner and rinse in pan with cold water until they are cool enough to handle. Peel and eat.
