Aunt Jen's Chocolate Chip Cake

Aunt Jen was my great aunt. I never saw her make this recipe but it is another recipe my mom made at Christmas and I always enjoyed. The recipe calls for sifting the dry ingredients. It does make the cake a little more light but doesn't really change the flavor if you decide not to.

Aunt Jen's Chocolate Chip Sour Cream Bundt Cake

1 c. sugar

¼# butter

2 eggs

1 c. sour cream

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

2 c. flour

12-18 oz chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bundt pan.

Cream sugar and butter together.

Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each.

Add sour cream.

Sift baking soda, baking powder, and flour and then mix into other ingredients.

Add choc chips after mixing all the other ingredients.

Add mix to the bundt pan and put in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.
